Responsive Call to Worship (Psalm 90:1,2,16,17)

Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations.

Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world,  from everlasting to everlasting you are God.

Let your work be shown to your servants, and your glorious power to their children.

Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us;  yes, establish the work of our hands!

*Hymn #686O God, Our Help in Ages Past” St. Anne

*Prayer of Adoration

*Affirmation of Faith - The Children’s Catechism

Can anyone be saved through the covenant of life?

No. No one can be saved through the covenant of life.

Why can't anyone be saved through the covenant of life?

Because all have broken it and are condemned by it.

How did you break the covenant of life?

Adam represented all people, and so I fell with Adam in his first sin.

How, then, can you be saved?

By the Lord Jesus Christ through the covenant of grace.

Children’s Message (ages 3 and Up)

*Hymn #524 Trinity “Thy Works, Not Mine, O Christ” Darwall

Corporate Prayer of Confession with Individual Prayers of Confession

Eternal and merciful God, You have loved us with a love beyond our understanding, and You have set us on paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake.  Yet we have strayed from Your way;  we have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed, through what we have done and what we have left undone.   As we remember the lavish gift of Your grace manifested perfectly in the sacrifice of Your Son, O God, we praise You and give You thanks that You forgive us yet again.   Grant us now, we pray, the grace to die daily to sin and to rise daily to new life in Christ, who lives and reigns with You, and in whose strong name we pray.

Assurance of Divine Pardon (Romans 6:23)

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Offertory & Prayer of Thanksgiving

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow, Praise Him, all creatures here below. Praise Him above, ye heavenly host. Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen.

New Guests We are so glad you are here worshiping the Lord with us. If you will, please fill out an Information Card found in the back, so we can get to know you a little. These can be placed in the offering plate or handed to a Greeter or Pastor John.

Room/Nursery –Please be assured that we do want your children in Worship with Us. But, we have now equipped a very pleasant, clean & comfortable “cry room” for families with small children to use as needed. It is located at the right of the sanctuary and is equipped with everything needed (including Audio) for events happening in the sanctuary. Entry to the room is gained from inside the sanctuary itself or can be accessed through the library.

Ingram Extra - Please join us immediately after service for some refreshment in the Fellowship Hall. This is an informal time to get to know each other better. During this short-time, we usually hear something practical from Pastor John and are able to share our prayer requests together.

The Lord’s Supper - We celebrate the Lord’s Supper each Sunday at Ingram. All who sincerely trust in Jesus Christ and Him alone, for the forgiveness of sin, are invited to partake. Our custom is to distribute the elements processing forward by rows. When everyone is served, then we will take the elements together. For children not yet taking communion, please bring them forward with you so Pastor John may pray for them. If you believe your child is ready to take Communion, please ask Pastor John about the process.
