Responsive Call to Worship    (Psalm 105:1-8)

Oh give thanks to the LORD; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples!

Sing to him, sing praises to him; tell of all his wondrous works!

Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice!

Seek the LORD and his strength; seek his presence continually!

Remember the wondrous works that he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he uttered, O offspring of

Abraham, his servant, children of Jacob, his chosen ones!

He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth. He remembers his covenant forever.

*Hymn #399             “We are God’s People”                     Symphony

*Prayer of Adoration

*Affirmation of Faith

What effect did the sin of Adam have on all people? We are all born guilty and sinful.

How sinful are you by nature? I am corrupt in every part of my being.

What is the sinful nature that we inherit from Adam called? Original sin.

Can anyone go to heaven with this sinful nature? No. Our hearts must be changed before we can believe in Jesus & go.

Corporate Prayer of Confession with Individual Prayers of Confession

Gracious and holy God, we praise You as the triune God of love and life

   who lives in perfect unity.

Though Jesus prayed that we would be one, we are a people divided

against ourselves as we cling to the false values, priorities, and commitments of this world.

We repent of our narcissistic preoccupation

that has ruptured our relationship jawithwith You and others.

May Your Spirit convict and heal us by showing us again the cross of Jesus

which is mighty to subdue, comfort, and save us.

For we pray in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Assurance of Divine Pardon  (Colossians 1:13,14)

He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son,

in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Offertory & Prayer of Thanksgiving

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow, Praise Him, all creatures here below. Praise Him above, ye heavenly host. Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen.
